ABOUT ME
For over 10 years, I’ve supported senior school students in various countries to master their
Key Stage 3 (Year 7-8) and iGCSE (Year 9-11) Sciences — Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I work with students preparing for the Edexcel, AQA, and Cambridge exam boards across Triple, Double, and Single Award pathways.
Having lived in Asia, Australia, and the USA, and having supported students at a prestigious British international school in Hong Kong for 7 years, I bring a global perspective to education. I am currently based in Singapore and teach students both locally and worldwide. My teaching adapts seamlessly for online access or in‑person sessions, ensuring every learner receives support that fits their context.
My role goes beyond teaching content: I guide each learner to discover how they learn best, tailoring strategies to their strengths, and guiding them through challenges with patience and clarity.
With a strong educational background in Biomedical Science (Neuroscience), a postgraduate training in
Special Educational Needs & Disabilities, and CCET accreditation, I bring both subject expertise and
evidence-based learning approaches to every session.
My main focus is on making Science manageable, exams less stressful, and study skills practical and effective for all types of learners.
SUPPORTING EVERY LEARNER
I specialise in exam technique coaching and past paper practice, ensuring students understand not only the material but how to apply it under exam conditions. Using evidence-based strategies, I weave in
executive functioning skills such as organisation, planning, and time management into their learning.
I empower learners of all profiles, including those with diverse learning needs, to approach their studies with confidence and independence.
Above all, I believe every student deserves clarity, confidence, and strategies that work for them. My teaching is personalised, empathetic, and empowering; helping students not only succeed in Science, but also develop the skills to stay organised, manage their workload, and approach exams with resilience.
